This class will be held at Start Here in Lexington on April 18 from 9am to 12pm. It is designed to continue the growth of a students basic understanding for graphite drawing to help improve their skills.
During this class we will:
Emphasize and focus on the concept of light, shadow, and contrast and translating this into creating realism artwork.
Discuss professional materials, work with some of these materials, and see how these materials can help you boost your artwork to the next level
Work on graphite application to create a more smooth and photographic looking final piece
We will discuss and practice how to turn these pieces into painted works of art
In an effort to lower the cost of the class and provide art instruction for everyone, we are offering students the option of bringing their own materials. You can bring your own art supplies or purchase a supply kit at the time of class registration. If you would like to bring your own materials, please see below for the list of supplies you will need for class. If you choose to buy your supplies from us, simply add the supply kit to your cart on the class page. Supply kits are $15 in addition to the cost of the class. Any supply kits purchased will be given to the student the day of the class and will be theirs to keep.
**Please note that we will not have extra materials in class for student use if an item or items are forgotten off the supplies list. It is extremely important that the student come fully prepared. Refunds will not be given if the student arrives without the necessary materials to be able to participate in class.**
